Welcome
I'm Natalie Hammett, a grief and loss counsellor based in Fareham. I offer in-person and online counselling sessions to individuals and couples.
I work with those who are navigating loss in its many forms; bereavement, relationship breakdown, identity shifts, or major life transitions such as leaving prison or facing childlessness. I work and , with a strong foundation in Therapy. That means I bring my whole, authentic self into the room with you and invite you to do the same. I believe that real, lasting change happens when we feel genuinely met, seen, and supported.
If you're living with loss, you might feel like the ground has shifted beneath you. Life no longer looks the way you thought it would. You may feel overwhelmed, disconnected from yourself or your partner, and unsure how to move forward. Whether you're grieving alone or within a relationship, I offer a calm, compassionate space where you can begin to make sense of what's happened, find some clarity, and start to reconnect with yourself, or with each other.
Thank you for being here. If you're ready for support, I'd be glad to walk alongside you as you face what's ahead. You don't have to go through this alone.

My Specialisations
Individuals
If you're grieving a loss or feeling disconnected, therapy offers a safe, supportive space to share what you're carrying. Together, we can explore the impact of your experiences, gently uncover patterns or emotional blocks, and begin to reconnect with meaning, self-worth, and a sense of yourself.
Couples
I can support you as a couple to navigate grief, loss, or disconnection together. Couples therapy provides space to help you understand each other more deeply, improve communication, and rebuild your connection during life's most challenging times.

Firstly I want to personally thank Natalie in helping me to turn me around and look upward again. I know life will never be the same but on meeting Natalie she supported , challenged and found multiple different ways when I could not understand. She is a caring person and during my counselling we did have some laughs so not serious all the time which helps you feel relaxed and at ease as I had multiple issues from very young , broken marriage and the death of my beautiful son which in the last year I have struggled to cope with. Thank you Natalie I shall miss our conversations. (Last samurai) Mark
