Loss touches us all, but never in quite the same way. It might be the death of someone you love, the end of a relationship, a shift in identity, a missed future, or a deep sense of emptiness that's hard to name. However it shows up, grief can feel overwhelming and isolating. I offer a compassionate, non‑judgemental space where your unique experience is met with warmth, respect, and gentle curiosity.

I'm an counsellor with a strong foundation in Therapy. This means I bring my full, authentic self into the room and invite you to do the same. I believe that real, lasting change happens when we feel genuinely seen and supported. While we begin with what you're carrying now, we may also explore earlier experiences if they feel relevant, especially when past patterns or emotions emerge in the present.

Therapy is not always easy. Talking about grief or emotional pain can be challenging, and at times, deeply confronting. But that challenge is also part of the work. With the right support, facing what's difficult can lead to meaningful insights, emotional release, and ultimately, growth. You don't have to go there alone.

My approach also draws on and perspectives, allowing space for both emotional exploration and practical tools. Some sessions may focus on deepening awareness; others may offer strategies to support everyday coping. It's a flexible, responsive process, led by what feels most helpful to you in each moment.

Grief therapy is never one-size-fits-all. You bring your own story, and together we'll shape the work around your experiences, your needs, and your hopes for healing. Whether your loss is recent or long ago, clear or complex, you are welcome just as you are.

Creative ways of working

As a therapist, I sometimes offer creative and tactile tools during our work, like visualisation, sandtray exercises, or symbolic objects such as Russian dolls. These can provide a gentle, hands-on way to explore feelings and experiences when it feels right for you. However, these tools are always optional and never pushed; your comfort and pace come first. Many clients who were initially unsure about creative methods have found them surprisingly helpful and supportive, but you'll always have the choice to say what feels best for you.
